Founded in 2020, Teleqo Tech emerged from a clear market need:
Organizations across telecommunications, transportation, and utility sectors needed reliable mobile mapping services delivered by professionals who understand their industries.
From our first collection projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, we built our reputation on three principles:
invest in the best technology, develop repeatable workflows that ensure consistent quality, and never compromise on accuracy. These principles guided every decision as we grew from a startup to a trusted partner for state DOTs, major telecom providers, and utility companies across North, Central, and South America.
As we scaled our operations, we recognized that existing software tools didn’t meet the precision requirements our clients demanded. So we built our own. What started as internal tools to improve our extraction accuracy evolved into comprehensive platforms that transformed how we delivered services.
By 2024, these platforms had matured to the point where other mobile mapping professionals were asking to use them. This led us to make a significant decision: spin out the software as a separate company that could serve the entire industry.
In 2024, Teleqo Tech spun out New Compass Solutions as an independent software company. New Compass commercializes the Ranger extraction platform and Pathfinder visualization platform that power Teleqo’s services.
This spinoff creates a unique advantage for Teleqo clients: you benefit from software purpose-built by practitioners for practitioners, tools that solve real operational challenges because they were developed to solve our own challenges first.
Our team combines deep expertise in civil engineering, geospatial technology, GIS analysis, and industry-specific knowledge. We’ve worked in state DOTs, telecommunications engineering departments, and utility companies—we understand your world because we’ve lived in it.
